Technician - Cyber Security IAM and Data Protection

This position is responsible for design and implementation of identity & access management solutions such as directory services, account provisioning platforms, digital rights management, and single sign on solutions. The security technician is a member of the Cyber Security teams and works closely with the other members of the team, the business, and other IT staff. Performs IAM and Data Protection administrative duties. • Builds and maintains appropriate role-based access control for users throughout the organization • Optimizes onboarding/off-boarding workflows • Integrates enterprise and cloud applications with single sign-on capabilities • Continually re-evaluate quality and effectiveness of access control systems • Review and analyze daily system reports, and recommend ways to remediate perceived security-related concerns • Work with and monitor security-related tools • Manage reporting processes and standalone reports • Engage with third party security partners as necessary • Assist in the creation and implementation of security policies, processes and procedures Creates documentation and materials to facilitate training for end users and support personnel. • Create and update documentation on the installation and configuration of security-related software, hardware and related troubleshooting • Assist in formulating training policies, programs and schedules related to company production processes, procedures, business systems, services and changes in technology • Foster partnerships between the Cyber Security team and other Sonic business units Education and Work Experience: • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or combination or prior work experience in the field of information security. • Three years of work experience in information security or Retail Technology. Prior Quick Service Restaurant experience, a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Demonstrated knowledge of managing Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy in a medium to large enterprise environment • Experience with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 • Experience with Windows Server architecture and network services • Solid working knowledge of PKI, Identity and Access Management tools, and cloud technologies such as AWS, Office 365, and Azure • Familiar with generally accepted information security practices and regulations, such as NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, and SOX • Knowledge of IT risk, regulatory, audit and compliance requirements • Public speaking skills • Relationally driven • Creative / think outside the box • A strong customer focus is required; this position includes frequent interaction with associates at all levels of the organization • Must be self-motivated and driven to go the distance with potential unhappy technology consumers. • Word processing, spreadsheet technologies, presentation skills and database experience are necessary. • Ability to meet specific deadlines and work under pressure. • Great organization and interpersonal skills. Utilizes problem solving, customer service skills, strong written, verbal and project management skills. • Experience with Security process and practices would be extremely beneficial. • Prior Quick Service Restaurant experience, a plus. • Must be available for job-related light travel Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
