Summary Participate in and assist with all aspects of Product Innovation for a large scale national food chain. Gain knowledge in many areas of food/product development, including research and development functions. Education and/or Experience • Actively enrolled at an accredited college/university/culinary arts program that has a formal internship/externship program • Working towards a degree in a food related field • Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Provide support to the Product Innovation department and assist with special research and development projects as required • May be exposed to one or several of the following areas: Food Events, Consumer Testing, Culinary Innovation Center work and General Coordination of Innovation Department • Will be required to oversee all or part of the development of a new product, including working cross-functionally with other departments and working with suppliers and supply partner R&D teams as is appropriate Other Skills and Abilities • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing • Strong interpersonal, organization, and time management skills • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency • Contribute positively to the organization, both individually and as part of a team • Solid PC skills including knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Strong customer service skills • Must protect and maintain confidentiality without compromise #LI-DNI
